"BLUE DUST - There is some magic about the blue indigo plant. It produces vibrant shades of colorfast, fade-resistant blue dye. In the 18th century, Indigo-dyed textiles were a favorite of America’s earliest quiltmakers and patchworkers; almost three centuries after, people are still drawn to indigo.
