Durante Denim Première Vision a Londra abbiamo avuto il piacere di presentare il seminario DRES/SET dedicato agli outfits di tendenza per la stagione SS21.

Ringraziamo tutti coloro che hanno partecipato e ci hanno incontrato durante i due giorni di fiera, perché la maggiore gratificazione per tutto il team Meidea è poter condividere i nostri progetti e discuterli insieme, un occasione di crescita professionale e personale. 

During Denim Première Vision in London we had the opportunity to present the seminar DRES/SET and talk about outfits and trends of SS21.

We are pleased to thank all the participants of the show and met us during the fair, because the major gratification for all Meidea Team is to share our projects and discuss with others, a chance to improve ourselves professionally and personally.

Shibori: when history meet tradition

Cloth shaped by shibori's methods is secured in a number of ways, such as binding and knotting. It is the pliancy of a textile and its potential for creating a multitude of shape-resisted designs that the Japanese concept of shibori has recognized and explored since 8th century. 

Shibori: when art meet history

The word comes from the verb root shiboru, "to wring, squeeze, press." The verb root of the word emphasizes the action performed on cloth, the process of manipulating fabric. Rather than treating cloth as a two-dimensional surface, with shibori it is given a three-dimensional form by folding, crumpling, stitching, plaiting, or plucking and twisting.
